The Gulp Field Guide is a series of booklets that
introduces a variety of popular Korean drinks with three different grid
structures. It is an experimentation on the limitations and range that each
grid—manuscript, modular, deconstructed—provides. The stylization of the
drinks brings in a sense of friendliness and closeness with its scribbled
outlines and minimal coloring.
The Gulp Website provides resources and information on a variety of popular Korean drinks. Through experimentations with positioning and CSS transition, the website also provides historical facts about the drinks and links to purchase them. There is also information on how these drinks have become a household staple in which all ages of many generations have come to love them.
