Elegant and graceful, Glissade is a monoline typeface created by Yoo-Ell Lee in 2021. It is inspired by the sleekness of a figure-skating blade. Glissade showcases the delicacy yet powerfulness of Kim Yuna—the main inspiration—as she performs on the ice. It mimics the curve of the tail, the point of the toe pick and the negative space that lie between the skate-shoe and the blade.
